The City of Olathe, KS, hired 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Heavy to replace its Blackbob Pump Station’s backup generator and to complete various other necessary updates to keep the pump station safe and operational. 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Heavy installed a 550kW CAT Generator, fuel tank, and automatic transfer switch to replace their pump station’s outdated backup power system as well as new HVAC controls, new doors and a ladder for safer access, an extension of the existing metal platform, and OSHA-compliant safety railing on the roof. The City can now rest assured that their pumps will continue to run in the event of a power loss, continually providing their residents with uninterrupted access to water.
