Broken Arrow WTP
The largest membrane water treatment plant in Oklahoma
Broken Arrow, OK
91ÖÆƬ³§ Heavy expanded and made improvements to the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority’s existing water treatment plant. The facility is now able to process 24 million gallons daily. It was a two-phase project that required approximately 115,000 man hours, 12,000 cubic yards of concrete, and over 10 miles of pipe.
Major structures included a six million gallon clear well, a pre-cast tilt-up membrane building, a pretreatment basin requiring 2,500 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete, and a three-stage flocculation and inclined plate settler system. Additionally, we constructed a high service pump station with four 900 HP vertical pumps and a raw water pump station with 30-foot cast-in-place walls, an engineered sheet pile shoring system, three vertical turbine pumps, and sludge lagoons. Lastly we constructed a 30-acre sedimentation pond and a refurbished 20 acre sedimentation pond.
